The Medical Benefits of Infrared Sauna

Infrared sauna helps with detoxification of toxins such as heavy metals and mold. Sauna treatments also help with insomnia, weight loss, pain relief, heart health, blood pressure, relaxation and fighting off illnesses. Patients can choose between 20 minute, 40 minute or 60 minute sessions. Anyone new to infrared sauna are advised to start with the 20 minute option.

Patient Sauna Instructions

Before Sauna Use

  • Drink at least 12 oz of water to prepare your body for an increase in core temperature.
  • Bring or wear a bathing suit or sauna wrap. You will be able to change clothes in private.
  • Bring a towel to sit on and a towel to dry off with. You may want to bring a small towel to wipe your sweat while in your sauna session.
  • Bring at least 12 oz of water or an electrolyte-replenishing drink with you. Plastic water bottles are not permitted in the sauna.
  • Electronics are not permitted in the sauna. The sauna has a built-in radio for your listening pleasure.

Beginning sessions: 20 minutes in infrared sauna room: $20.00

After Sauna

  • Rehydrate with at least 12 ounces of water or electrolyte drink. 
  • Myer’s infusion: 1000ml Myer’s infusion provides 35oz of normal saline with a specially formulated mix of B Complex and B-12 vitamins, Calcium, Vitamin C & Magnesium. Dry off and cool down naturally. By allowing your body to cool off slowly, the benefits of the infrared sauna session continue longer, resulting in increased toxin breakdown and cardiovascular/circulatory benefits. It’s best to shower after you have cooled off. We do not have a shower on our premises.
